Repent or perish!

AN INTRODUCTION

The command of the bible is that everyone must repent or perish, because the clear and indisputable teaching and revelation of God's word is that all man have fallen. But can fallen man obey the command to repent and not perish? If Adam, before the fall could not obey God, do you seriously think that his fallen children can?

The answer is: it is impossible. Jesus said it beautifully, "with man, this is impossible, but with God, all things are possible." The truth and purpose behind this command, is therefore, to humble mankind and to exalt God. He has bound mankind to disobedience, that He might show mercy to all.

But does God show mercy to all? No, for He declares that He will have mercy on whom He will have mercy, and whom He will, He hardens. So then, it's not of man that willeth (man's will is in bondage to his fallen sinful nature, it is not free to choose to obey God), nor of man that runneth (man's works, are like filthy rags to God), but of God who shows mercy!

Therefore, repentance is a gift of "special grace" from God. To those he shows mercy, He bestows unconditionally the gift of repentance unto life. To those He hardens, they can never ever repent. So, if God shows mercy to you and gives you this gift of repentance unto life, you will surely repent to the praise of His glorious grace. Do you now see the power of God's truth in the words of Jesus, when He said that "with man, it is impossible, but with God, all things are possible." For the dispensation of the gift of repentance lies solely in God's sovereign choice.

Observe for yourself, dear reader, multitudes die everyday without receiving this precious gift from God. Do not, for one moment think that it depends on the person's will and works to receive this gift from God. Mankind has been deceived by Satan and his false apostles into thinking that he has, within his fallen sinful nature, the power and "freewill" to repent as and when he desires. This is contrary to the clear and simple truth taught and revealed in God's word. It is time you know the Truth, and if one day, you are able to trust Jesus for your salvation and repent towards God, it is not because of your "freewill" to repent and not perish.

To begin with, your will was never free, it was in bondage to Satan and your fallen sinful nature. You were dead in sin, not just half dead. You were totally dead! And what abilities exist in death? None, let alone a "freewill" to obey God. It was God who raised you up from spiritual death. It is not because of your works, but it is of God who shows mercy to you, because God has sovereignly, from eternity chose to create you to be a vessel of mercy prepared for glory.

But, if you should never ever obey the command to repent, woe be to you, you have been hardened by God. You are a vessel of dishonour, created and prepared for destruction! This is the truth, and if any should not still fear the Lord, because He is a Holy and sovereign God, who saves and destroy according to His will and purposes. God says "he is a fool who is void of wisdom, for the fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom. Amen."

Praise be to God the Father, Son and Holy Spirit who "has mercy on whom He will have mercy and whom He will, He hardeneth!!!"

The purpose of this website, is firstly and fore-mostly, to give glory and honour to God The Father, Son and Holy Spirit, by declaring in plain and simple language the truth of HIS sovereign, almighty and unchangeable will and purposes for creating mankind and creation, as it is taught and revealed in His written word – the holy bible.

In Revelation 4:11, the apostle John writes "Thou art worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honour and power: for thou hast created all things, and for thy pleasure they are and were created". In the book of Daniel 4:35-37 we read "All the inhabitants of the earth are reputed as nothing: and He doeth according to His will in the army of heaven and among the inhabitants of the earth: and none can stay His hand, or say unto Him, what doeth thou?"

In the book of Isaiah 45:6,7 we read "That they may know from the rising of the sun, and from the west, that there is none beside me. I am the Lord and there is none else. I form the LIGHT, AND CREATE DARKNESS: I MAKE PEACE AND CREATE EVIL; I THE LORD DO ALL THESE THINGS."

Many of you may be surprised that GOD does not only create PEACE, HE also creates evil for HIS glory and honour and power and HIS pleasure, and remains the HOLY ONE (Revelation 4:11) more of this doctrine shall be taught and revealed, as our website progresses to the doctrinal stage. In Proverbs 16:4, we read, "The Lord hath made all things for Himself: yea, even the wicked for the day of evil."

For sure, satan nor the wicked cannot surprise nor deceive God. For sure, satan cannot have more knowledge of evil than God Himself has of evil. Satan is a creature of God, all his power and knowledge has been given to him by God to fulfill God's will and purposes.

It is God and not satan, who created the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, which symbolizes God's absolute knowledge of everything good and of everything evil. God is omniscient, satan is not. God is the creator, satan is not the creator, he is a creature and an evil instrument of God. Whether he likes it or not, he has done, is doing and going to do God's bidding. GOD IS GOD OR NOT AT ALL! The bible reveals who God truly is, not just half a God, for half a God is no God at all.

Secondly, to call to salvation the elect (vessels of mercy, prepared for glory) those God The Father has chosen in God The Son before the foundations of the world. Before creating mankind and creation itself, from eternity, God The Father, Son and Holy Spirit made a covenant and decided whom by His Sovereign Grace, shall be the recipients of salvation and eternal life, and whom shall not be.

False 'christians' say that this is not true, and it is unfair, for they believe that it depends on man's 'freewill' and not God's Sovereign Will. Well then, this is true of them, they say with their lips that God is Sovereign, but their uncircumcised hearts are far from God, they claim that they are 'christians' and can see, therefore their sins remain. They are hypocrites; worthless and empty is their confession of faith, total and complete is their blindness. Like the Pharisees of old, carnal and legalistic is their interpretation of the wonderful Gospel of God's Sovereign Grace.

God consulted no creature save Himself, when He chose a people. Obviously, the non elect (vessels of dishonour prepared for destruction) hate this clear and simple truth. They reject it because they do not belong to God; they belong to their father the devil. Regarding these truthful matters, let us read what the apostle Paul wrote about the predestination of God's children and what Jesus said about hearing and believing God's word - the children of the devil and the children of God.

Paul writes about the unconditional eternal election and predestination of God's children in the epistle to the Ephesians 1:3-11,

3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ: 4 According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love: 5 Having predestinated us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to himself, according to the good pleasure of his will, 6 To the praise of the glory of his grace, wherein he hath made us accepted in the beloved. 7 In whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace; 8 Wherein he hath abounded toward us in all wisdom and prudence; 9 Having made known unto us the mystery of his will, according to his good pleasure which he hath purposed in himself: 10 That in the dispensation of the fulness of times he might gather together in one all things in Christ, both which are in heaven, and which are on earth; even in him: 11 In whom also we have obtained an inheritance, being predestinated according to the purpose of him who worketh all things after the counsel of his own will.

Here you have it dear reader, the clear and simple truth….GOD consulted no one, save the counsel of His own will, when He elected, out of Sovereign Grace and predestinated according to His purpose. Now, let's read what Jesus said about hearing and believing God's word…. in The Gospel according to John 8:42-47,

42 Jesus said unto them, If God were your Father, ye would love me: for I proceeded forth and came from God; neither came I of myself, but he sent me. 43 Why do ye not understand my speech? even because ye cannot hear my word. 44 Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it. 45 And because I tell you the truth, ye believe me not. 46 Which of you convinceth me of sin? And if I say the truth, why do ye not believe me? 47 He that is of God heareth God's words: ye therefore hear them not, because ye are not of God.

The clear and simple truth revealed in the two scriptures mentioned here, Ephesians 1:3-11 and John 8:42-47 is very sobering. The purpose of God in creating mankind is to divide them into two categories and glorify Himself through both. Through His unconditional eternal election, some belong to God and some belong to the devil.

In the parable of the wheat and the tares, a man went out to sow good seeds (Jesus and the children that God has given Him). In the night, the enemy came and sowed the bad seeds (The devil and those that belong to him). The field where the good and bad seeds were planted is this present world. Both categories of mankind exist together. The good seeds will grow to produce wheat and be harvested and brought into the barn. The bad seeds will also grow, to be tares and finally burnt in the fire.

The good seeds belong to God through His election and they will hear and believe in His word. The bad seeds belong to their father, the devil, the father of lies. They will hate Jesus by rejecting the true Gospel of Sovereign Grace and Grace alone. They will hate Jesus by rejecting the clear and simple truth about His Sovereignty over His creatures. They cannot hear and understand God's word inwardly. They will never believe God's word. They do not belong to GOD!!!!

As I end this introduction, I hope that by God's Sovereign Grace, He has chosen you from eternity to belong to Him. All to the praise of the glory of His Grace. Amen.

Who hath ears to hear, let him hear:

JOHN 8:42 Jesus said unto them, If God were your Father, ye would love me: for I proceeded forth and came from God; neither came I of myself, but he sent me. 43 Why do ye not understand my speech? even because ye cannot hear my word. 44 Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do.
